The Cross Plex Table Lamp T-300 envisioned in 1961 has re-imagined itself to suit modern sensibilities. A creation by Fritz Hansen, the Cross Plex reflects honesty and clarity in its design approach. Contemporary and minimalist in appeal, this table lamp has a refined quality. Two slabs of plexiglass intersect to form the base over which stands a cuboid lampshade in opal glass. With a profile that almost looks like a miniature building, the Cross Plex enchants with its soft illumination. The contrast of the clear base with the translucent shade creates a mesmerising effect. The open-top facilitates upward lighting while the lamp provides a diffused ambient glow.
